The powders of secondary aluminium alloys (APV) are produced from aluminium with Al content no less than 85%, like AV-87 grade (Al+Mg > 87%) in accordance with GOST 295-79. The powder of APV grade is widely used in steel production as deoxidants, and also in the mining industry.

    The powder of secondary aluminium alloys is of grey colour and does not contain visible impurities. Presence of agglomerates of powder lumps and petals of aluminium as result of atomizing is allowed. The residue of powder on sieve 2000 mkm, in accordance with GOST 3584-73 should be no more than 5 %.

    Powder of secondary aluminium alloys is delivered in tight metal drums or in Big Bags.

    When agreed with the customer Al content in AVP powder grade may vary from 85 to 97 %.
